Breeze Advance (“Breeze Advance,” “we,” “us”) provides this merchant portal and the funding (merchant cash advances) you access through it. This policy explains what information we handle when you use the portal, how we use it, and the choices you have. Your funding itself is governed by your separate funding agreement with us.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, business name, email, phone, and the credentials you use to sign in.
- Business & financial information — details about your business and advance, and, when you choose to connect a bank account, financial data retrieved through our banking partner (Plaid), such as balances and transaction history used for funding and servicing decisions.
- Documents you upload — bank statements, accounts-receivable, and other files you provide.
- Usage information — basic logs and device data needed to operate, secure, and improve the portal.
How we use information
We use your information to provide the portal, display your balance and activity, process and service draws, support our underwriting and servicing decisions, communicate with you, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal and regulatory obligations.
How we share information
We use trusted service providers — including Plaid (bank connectivity), our cloud hosting and database providers, and email delivery — who process data on our behalf under contract. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the security of the service. We do not sell your personal information.
Bank connections (Plaid)
When you link a bank account, you authorize the retrieval of account and transaction information through Plaid to support funding and servicing. Plaid's handling of your data is governed by Plaid's own privacy policy. You can disconnect a linked account at any time from the portal.
Security & retention
We protect your information with encryption in transit and at rest and with access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data. We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations.
Your choices
You may access and update your contact details from your profile, request a copy or correction of your information, and unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in any message footer (you will still receive essential account messages). To exercise any right, contact us.
